Awareness Raising Seminar

Decentralization plays a crucial role in enhancing public participation. Hanns Seidel Foundation together with the Nile Centers of Beni Suef, Tanta, Cairo, Alexandria and Port Said therefore organized an awareness raising seminar on decentralization and public participation in each of these five governorates.
Tanta lies in the Nile Delta, whereas Beni Suef is situated in Middle Upper Egypt around 120 km south of Cairo.
The seminars were well attended and attracted  almost 200 participants.
