Workshop

A workshop on Public Participation was organized by Hanns Seidel Foundation in cooperation with the Nile Center of Marsa Matrouh. Around 40 participants were invited to the workshop. Several experts of the Association for the Advancement of Education and Development (AAED) delivered the workshop content.
The workshop covered a variety of topics ranging from concepts of participation over communication skills and approaches to solve local problems.
Besides listening to theoretical input the participants were involved in interactive group work which further contributed to their team-building and communication skills.
The workshops aimed at enhancing public participation and encouraging citizens to solve problems within their communities.
