The foundation is cooperating with different Egyptian partners who are dedicated to progressive environmental education that empowers citizens to re-define the relationship between themselves and their surroundings. Partners like environmental NGOs and local official stakeholders in this field are working with the foundation’s support to enhance e.g. the learning experience of public school children in Egypt. Environmental awareness activities are designed to use participatory principles and experiment-based inquiry to guide the children in the learning process of discovery and reflection on topics including: water, waste, energy, pollution, biodiversity and sustainability.
