Objective: Environics is relatively a new field. To understand the subject in its right perspective and how to translate the knowledge into career, a two-day workshop was organized in New Delhi.

Description: Environics is the study of the science of electromagnetic radiations present in our offices, homes and factories, their effect on our body system and work output. The detailed study can help and correcting the radiations to create a healthy, productive and efficient surroundings.

The speakers Ajay Poddar and Manisha Matanheli spoke on the electromagnetic nature of the energies and underground water streams producing magnetic fields respectively. Matanheli gave a detailed overview on how these streams in our surroundings act as a disturbing factor. The radiations emitted by these streams are so strong that they can affect a person living several floors up from the surface of the earth in a high rise apartment. Both the speakers emphasized on how today's modern life is caught inside the harmful network of manmade radiations.

The speakers also dealt with the detailed questions from participants that how this learning can be converted into a profession, other avenues etc.
