SOS Violence is a non-governmental organization and aims to provide teachers and students with tools for coping with violence in the school context and thus strengthen the social fabric in the class room by means of effective, non-violent responses.

The applied model and techniques are based on studies of violence by the German “Academy of Racism and Violence- Villigst”, though adapted for the needs of Israeli Hebrew and Arab cultures and languages. SOS Violence organizes short- and mid-term intervention programs in schools, universities and colleges in order to train students, teachers and educational staff encountering physical or verbal violence.

Furthermore, SOS Violence promotes publishing curricula, guidebooks and research, for example by connecting various organizations in the field in Israel and abroad.
