Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel (SPNI) is a non-profit organization in Israel, dedicating their work to all kind of environmental issues in order to protect and preserve Israel’s ecosystems. Pursuing this objective, SPNI implements educational programs to reach a wide range of different ethnic, cultural and age groups to promote awareness for environmental values. Along with that SPNI advocates and campaigns for the protection of Israel’s remaining open spaces, preservation of rivers and lakes, the promotion of metropolitan parks and the protection of endangered species and plants. Furthermore, SPNI provides in the frame work of Eco-Tourism field schools and trained tour guides for hikes and tours all over Israel.
