UNEP/ROAP provides leadership and encourages partnership in caring for the environment by inspiring, informing and enabling nations and peoples to improve their quality of life without compromising that of future generations.

The Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific works with a wide range of sub-regional, governmental and other collaborating agencies in addressing priority environmental issues of concern.

HSF and UNEP/ROAP, in cooperation with ASEAN Secretariat, support regional, sub-regional and national activities in the field of environmental education, training and awareness for youth, officials of related ministerial offices (focal point of ASEAN member countries), other related institutions, Parliamentarians and Political Party Members in dealing with environmental regulation.
