Established in 1995, YPBB is a non-profit organization which collaborates with the Forum for Interpreters of Gunung Gede-Pangrango National Parks (FINGGO) to promote biodiversity conservation and enhance environmental awareness in Gede Pangrango National Park.

HSF is supporting YPBB in the development of interpretation packages and green guides in the Gunung Gede-Pangrango National Park. This is the first biodiversity interpretation program ever developed in an Indonesian national park and could serve as a model for other parks to follow. The objectives of the program are to design environmentally sensitive guide procedures and to train guides to provide professional interpretation services.
