To celebrate the World Cup 2006 in Germany, the Hannsiklub held its first plenary meeting for the year to coincide with the quarterfinal game between Germany and Argentina. Germany won on penalty, 4-2, after the game was drawn 1-1 in regulation and extra times. (Italy eventually won the World Cup 2006; Germany finished third). more...
