The Royal Thai Police Forces welcomed a delegation of Hanns Seidel Foundation Thailand (HSF) to discuss further cooperation possibilities between Thai and German police forces on 30th August 2012.

The cooperation includes the The German-Southeast Asian Center of Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPG) offering legal expertise. HSF’s project director Mr. Schönfisch and Police Lieutenant General Chalermkiat Srivorakan identified several areas where a collaboration could be fruitful for both, the Thai and German police forces. Specific training courses and other related issues like study missions raising the efficiency of police work are planned.

Both sides agreed on starting the project activities as soon as possible.
