COVID-19 posed a severe stress test for Kyrgyzstan. The pandemic claimed many lives but has also revealed critical issues in the countrys politics, economics, and healthcare. The report takes stock of Kyrgyzstans experience of fighting COVID-19 in 2020. It covers three broad issues, including the governments strategies to address the pandemic, key factors contributing to success or failure of policy measures, and the pandemics socio-economic and political consequences.
